About The Position

Quail Ridge, a private country club, is seeking a professional, energetic, and service-oriented Server Assistant for its Food & Beverage team. The Server Assistant supports servers and other team members to help create a seamless dining experience for members and guests. The role requires a helpful, detail-oriented, team-focused approach and readiness to anticipate needs and contribute to high standards of hospitality.

The position includes preparing and maintaining tables, delivering and clearing service items, assisting with food and beverage service, monitoring dining areas, maintaining clean and stocked service stations, and helping with opening, closing, and event duties. The Server Assistant works with culinary, bar, host, server, and management teams and follows club service, sanitation, safety, confidentiality, and discretion standards. • Previous server assistant, food runner, busser, or front-of-house experience.
• Food safety certification; it may be required based on position responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support servers and other Food & Beverage team members throughout the dining experience.
• Set, maintain, and reset tables according to Quail Ridge standards.
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and prepared before members and guests are seated.
• Deliver and clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other service items as directed.
• Refill water and assist with beverage service when appropriate.
• Monitor tables and dining areas and respond promptly to member needs.
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Clear used dishes, glassware, and other items promptly and discreetly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room, service stations, and assigned areas.
• Keep service stations properly stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including side work and dining room preparation.
• Communicate member requests and service needs to the appropriate server or manager.
• Work with culinary, bar, host, server, and management teams to maintain smooth service.
• Assist during special events, member functions, and high-volume periods as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Follow club service standards, sanitation requirements, and safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when interacting with members and guests.
