About The Position

At Main Event, Server Assistants support Servers to help provide Guests with an excellent experience. The role focuses on refills, pre-bussing tables, assisting with table turns, and keeping dining areas clean. Server Assistants also help greet Guests, take drink orders, deliver food and drinks, anticipate Guest needs, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. The position may involve opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

Requirements

• A Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork skills.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Effective communication skills, including communicating with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• A sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with greeting Guests and taking drink orders.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guest needs.
• Support Servers by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables.
• Provide exceptional service and create memorable Guest experiences.
