About The Position

The Server Assistant (SA) is a key contributor to the energy and flow of the dining room. You will work alongside our servers and front-of-house team to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, clean, and welcoming experience from the moment they sit down to the moment they leave. This role is fast-paced, team-oriented, and perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy restaurant environment. Availability must include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age (required due to alcohol service environment).
Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Certification prior to or within 30 days of hire.
Must understand and follow all OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine passion for hospitality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Reliable transportation and consistent availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they are seated and assist servers with bringing beverages and initial table needs.
Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests depart, ensuring the dining room is always guest-ready.
Transport used tableware, glassware, and silverware to the dish room and place items in the appropriate areas for washing.
Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
Run food and drinks to tables as directed by servers and managers.
Respond to guest requests promptly and communicate needs to the server immediately.
Inspect and clean assigned restrooms as needed throughout the shift.
Support the host team with restroom restocking responsibilities.
Assist with ongoing side work and opening/closing duties as assigned.
Thank guests as they leave and contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere throughout the shift.
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Collaborate with all team members and step in to help wherever needed — we succeed together.
Perform other duties as assigned by restaurant management.
