About The Position

The Server Assistant (Food Runner) is an entry-level hospitality role that supports the service team in providing guests with a polished, timely dining experience. The role involves delivering food and beverages, helping coordinate service between the kitchen and floor, maintaining table readiness, and keeping dining areas clean and organized. It offers hands-on experience and opportunities to learn from experienced servers and kitchen teammates.

At the start of a shift, the Server Assistant connects with the team about reservations and service pacing and prepares the dining room. During service, the role stays active coordinating timing, monitoring table readiness, and assisting wherever needed. Between rushes, the Server Assistant resets the room, restocks supplies, and keeps the section presentable. At the end of the shift, the role helps wrap up and reset for the next service.
