About The Position

Wichita Country Club is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Server Assistant/Food Runner to support dining staff and help provide an outstanding experience for members and guests. The role assists with service tasks, dining-area preparation and upkeep, and guest requests while maintaining the club’s service standards and following health and safety practices.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 15–20 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and set up dining areas, including arranging tables and place settings.
• Clear and clean tables after guests leave, removing used dishes, utensils, and glassware.
• Restock supplies and keep dining areas and server stations organized and clean.
• Empty bus tubs and help bus tables in the bar and restaurant.
• Support the service team by running food, refilling drinks, and addressing guest needs as directed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment in dining and service areas.
• Assist with guest requests to help ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
