About The Position

Server Assistants support the service team by anticipating where assistance is needed, keeping guests supplied with water, and helping servers during busy periods. The role involves maintaining clean service areas, responding to guest requests, communicating with servers, and clearing and resetting tables. Requirements

• Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow support staff as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of constant standing and walking, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift according to the service station assignment.
• Maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated and respond appropriately to guest requests.
• Communicate guest requests to the server as needed.
• Between seatings, take soiled tableware to the dish room and sort it into designated areas of the soiled dish drop-off area.
• Clean and reset tabletops.
