Server Assistant
About The Position
At Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, the Server Assistant helps create memorable moments for guests by assisting both the kitchen and servers in the dining room. In the kitchen, the role includes assembling prepared food and condiments according to Fleming’s standards, checking orders for accuracy, and reviewing orders with guests to confirm they meet expectations. In the dining room, the Server Assistant supports servers by tracking food times, stocking tables with needed items, bussing tables, offering drink recommendations and refills, decanting and selling wine, and performing tableside service to provide an elevated, seamless guest experience.
Requirements
- At least one year of previous restaurant experience as a server or busser.
Responsibilities
- Assist the kitchen with assembling prepared food and condiments according to Fleming’s standards.
- Check orders for accuracy and review orders with guests to ensure they meet their expectations.
- Assist servers in the dining room.
- Help track food times.
- Stock tables with the proper items needed.
- Bus tables.
- Offer drink recommendations and refills.
- Decant and sell wine.
- Perform tableside service to create an elevated and seamless guest experience.
