About The Position

The Server Assistant (Busser) provides personalized, immaculate guest service and an elegant dining experience by anticipating and meeting guest needs and requests. The role assists with cleaning and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness in common areas, and supporting servers with all aspects of service as required. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Open availability is preferred.

Requirements

• A valid FL Certified Food Handlers card is required upon hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift, often up to 8 hours, with frequent bending and squatting, and lift plates, boxes, and objects up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate the needs of guests and team members, working with a sense of urgency.
• Assist servers with food and beverage service to support guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean stations and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available, including silverware, linen, condiments, and bottled beverages.
• Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Keep the back of the restaurant clean and organized.
• Maintain appropriate inventory and the proper condition of equipment and operating supplies.
• Communicate customer needs, comments, or incidents to management and other service staff.
• Clean spills immediately and alert other staff members to potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform assigned opening and closing duties.
