About The Position

The Server Assistant supports restaurant service by anticipating where assistance is needed, ensuring guests have water, and assisting servers when they are busy. The role helps maintain clean service areas and provides responsive support to guests and the service team. This description is not exhaustive and does not constitute a contract.

Requirements

• At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.
• Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by the service station assignment, and maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated, respond appropriately to guest requests, and communicate requests to the server as needed.
• Between seatings, take soiled tableware to the dish room, sort it into designated areas in the soiled dish drop-off area, and clean and reset tabletops.
