About The Position

As a Server Assistant with Le Meridien St Louis Clayton, you will set up and clear dining tables, stock server stations, and assist service in the dining or event room in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner consistent with the hotel's and brand's standards.

Requirements

Ability to walk and stand throughout an eight-hour period.
Ability to move quietly and gracefully through a small area while carrying trays.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting; promptly and consistently reset service ware as prescribed.
Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including necessary equipment such as silverware, linen, and condiments.
Transport dirty tableware from tables to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Help ensure the dining room is clean and presentable to guests, including sweeping or mopping floors and detail-cleaning outlets.
Assist Servers when requested.
Conduct oneself professionally, recognizing that actions and communications are within guest view.
Respond immediately and graciously to guest service issues and report situations to the appropriate Server or Manager.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Assist with running food to the dining room or pool deck.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
