About The Position

Server Assistants support restaurant service by anticipating where help is needed, keeping guests supplied with water, and assisting servers when they need support. They help maintain clean service areas, welcome guests, respond to requests, and clear and reset tables between seatings. Requirements

• At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.
• Positive energy and willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform frequent standing and walking, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift according to service station assignment.
• Maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate with the server as needed.
• Take soiled tableware to the dish room between seatings and sort it in designated areas of the soiled dish drop-off area.
• Clean and reset tabletops between seatings.
• Assist fellow support staff and servers as needed.
