About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Server Assistants to work at Barrel Yard Restaurant at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay does not include potential tipped earnings. The role supports the dining room and bar by helping with setup, service, maintenance, and cleanup in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal game-day position requiring flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Minimum four-day availability, with 10 a.m. weekday start times and 3–5 p.m. weeknight start times.
Open availability on weekends.
Ability to stand or walk for the entire shift, potentially including walking up and down stairs.
Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays weighing up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience or training as a Runner, Bar Back, or Busser in a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume.

Responsibilities

Check in with management upon arrival for daily duties and station assignments.
Attend pre-shift briefings and note relevant service, food and beverage, and guest information.
May assist with running food and beverages to tables.
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room, including equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, service stations, floors, and windows.
Clear dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables after guests depart.
Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and linen to the dishwashing area, sorting and placing them in the assigned areas.
Reset tables after guests leave according to the floor plan or management instructions.
Remove and empty trash as needed.
Assist bartenders with bar setup, maintenance, and service.
Assist servers with dining room setup, maintenance, and service.
