About The Position

The Server Assistant supports Food & Beverage colleagues and helps create a memorable dining experience at La Hacienda. The role focuses on attentive hospitality, guest satisfaction, knowledge of restaurant products and standards, and providing thorough support to servers. Responsibilities also include setting and maintaining tables, keeping service stations stocked and organized, maintaining water service, and ensuring the dining room remains clean throughout service. Requirements

• At least one year of food and beverage experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.

• Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere hospitality and prioritize guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant products, procedures, and standards; study, complete tests, and answer guest questions.
• Support servers as much as possible during service.
• Clear tables after guests finish and coordinate with bussers and servers to ensure adequate support.
• Set tables precisely and check that each setting is complete; align tables, chairs, and table items.
• Stock side stations and maintain appropriate supplies of silverware, glassware, napkins, share plates, marking trays, and condiments.
• Polish items and ensure they are free of fingerprints and smudges; stock stations quietly and carefully.
• Maintain guest water levels and remember guests’ water preferences.
• Pick up debris, clean spills or grease from floors, and respond promptly to broken items with a broom and dustpan.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room, including chairs, banquettes, and areas under tables.
• Clean and stock supplies and organize and replenish linen pars.
• Complete assigned side work before, during, and after the shift.
