About The Position

Serve food to residents and guests in a fine-dining, in-house restaurant at La Vida Real. The restaurant features made-to-order dining with fresh ingredients, fine china, seasonal and regional menus, signature dishes, and daily specials. Part-time AM and PM shifts are available, including weekends and holidays. The position offers no late nights.

Requirements

• Maintain required food handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables and present menus.
• Answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Stay knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
• Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
• Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
• Help keep dining tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
• Maintain required food handler certifications.
