About The Position
Server Assistants support restaurant service by anticipating where assistance is needed, keeping guests' water glasses filled, and helping servers when they need support. They help maintain clean service areas and ensure tables are cleared and reset between seatings.
Requirements
- Have positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff, and work as a team player.
- Communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
- Have a flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be able to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift according to service station assignment, and maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
- Greet guests as they are seated, respond appropriately to guest requests, and communicate requests to the server as needed.
- Between seatings, take soiled tableware to the dish room, sort it into designated areas in the soiled dish drop-off area, and clean and reset tabletops.
