About The Position

RUSTY BUCKET RESTAURANT AND TAVERN is seeking a Server Assistant. The role supports managers, servers, and hosts by assisting with their duties and communicating effectively, with the goal of delivering genuine hospitality and guest satisfaction. It requires competence in service procedures, willingness to help coworkers, and a commitment to the restaurant’s hospitality standards. The Server Assistant is expected to arrive on time, maintain a clean uniform and good personal hygiene, respond to guest questions and requests, cooperate with coworkers and management, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, report unsafe conditions, use equipment properly, know emergency procedures, and follow the associate handbook. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Responsibilities

Report to work on time according to the work schedule and maintain a clean uniform and good personal hygiene throughout shifts.
Exemplify hospitality standards, answer guests’ questions about the restaurant, and handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist others with duties as needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive manner.
Follow national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
Know the restaurant’s emergency procedures.
Perform assigned duties and maintain knowledge of standards and procedures in the associate handbook.
