About The Position

At Main Event, Server Assistants support Servers to help Guests have an amazing experience. The role includes helping with refills, pre-bussing and turning tables, and keeping dining areas clean. Server Assistants also help greet Guests, take drink orders, and uphold high standards for safety and sanitation. They may perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

Requirements

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with greeting Guests and taking drink orders.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests’ needs.
• Support Servers by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables.
• Provide exceptional service and create memorable Guest experiences.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties.
