About The Position

Maxime’s, a private member’s club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is seeking a Server Assistant to join its hospitality team. Reporting to the Zodiac Lounge and Bar Manager, the Server Assistant works closely with Servers and other front-of-house team members to create a welcoming atmosphere, satisfy members, and uphold the club’s brand and service standards. The role supports daily service in a fine-dining environment, including preparing and maintaining table lay-up and mise-en-place and assisting Servers with food and beverage service. The position requires regular standing and walking, as well as occasional lifting. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

Proven success as a Server Assistant in fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings.
Maintain a professional, upbeat demeanor and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, according to business needs.

Responsibilities

Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and attend to members’ needs courteously and professionally.
Be fully conversant with table lay-up and mise-en-place before, during, and after service.
Actively assist Servers with food and beverage service.
Uphold superior service standards and help ensure member satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Work collaboratively with Servers and other front-of-house team members.
