About The Position

The Elysian Bar Restaurant, located within the historic Hotel Peter and Paul, is seeking an enthusiastic Server Assistant to support waitstaff and help provide smooth, efficient dining experiences. The role includes preparing tables, assisting with food and beverage service, clearing tables, and maintaining clean dining areas. It offers an opportunity to learn and grow in the hospitality industry in a hotel environment.

The position requires a flexible schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs, events, and team needs. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Responsibilities

• Set tables with linens, silverware, and glassware according to established standards.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Clear used utensils, plates, and glassware from tables.
• Refill water glasses and beverages as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to support timely, accurate order delivery.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.

• Hourly base rate of $8.00 plus participation in the tip pool.
