About The Position

The Server Assistant oversees table maintenance, maintains the flow of service, and assists servers in the dining room. This role is suited to a motivated, organized, friendly hospitality professional who is passionate about food and beverage and committed to providing selfless hospitality. The Server Assistant contributes to memorable guest meals through attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a fine-dining, high-volume atmosphere.
Exceptional communication skills.
Prior experience as a busser or server assistant in a full-service restaurant.
Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
Intellectual curiosity.
Ability to work cleanly and in an organized manner as part of a team.
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period.
May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Clear food and utensils from tables and reset tables.
Provide water service.
Monitor guest satisfaction.
Assist the kitchen in expediting the service process.
Communicate clearly and work as part of the team to support smooth service operations and quality service.
