About The Position

Server Assistants support service staff and help ensure guests receive attentive service. They keep water glasses filled, assist servers when needed, and help maintain clean, orderly service areas. The role involves side work, greeting guests, responding to requests, clearing and sorting soiled tableware, and cleaning and resetting tables.

Requirements

• At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.
• Positive energy and willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift according to the service station assignment.
• Maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated and respond appropriately to guest requests.
• Communicate guest requests to the server as needed.
• Between seatings, take soiled tableware to the dish room and sort it into designated areas in the soiled-dish drop-off area.
• Clean and reset tabletops.
