About The Position

The Server Assistant-Fine Dining position requires a detail-oriented individual familiar with current sanitation procedures, excellent communication skills, the ability to anticipate guests’ needs, and the ability to work closely with co-workers. The role includes understanding menu items, following service standards, completing assigned side work, assisting guests, helping the bartender stock and clean bar areas, and maintaining and inventorying equipment monthly. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Six months of restaurant experience in bussing, serving, and/or bartending.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to use common-sense reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.
• Tips Alcohol Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Have a complete understanding of menu items.
• Follow sequence-of-service standards.
• Perform assigned side work duties.
• Converse with guests and address their needs as required.
• Work with the bartender to stock and clean bar areas as required.
• Maintain and inventory equipment monthly to ensure adequate counts for service.
