About The Position
The Server Assistant supports the dining service team at Lutie's Restaurant at Commodore Perry Estate. The role helps ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience by anticipating needs, assisting with table service, responding to guest requests, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Back Server.
Responsibilities
- Set up and clear tables, arrange utensils, plates, and glassware, and promptly remove used items.
- Assist servers with delivering beverages and refilling drinks.
- Answer guest questions, accommodate special requests, and help ensure guests' comfort.
- Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff, communicate guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to meet service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and surfaces and following food safety protocols.
