About The Position
Motek, part of the Happy Corner Hospitality collective, is a Mediterranean concept restaurant. The Server Assistant is an essential member of the service team, helping maintain a clean and organized restaurant, restocking service stations, running food and drinks, and supporting attentive, seamless service for guests. The role requires working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a positive, cooperative team.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a server assistant, busser, or food runner role in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Run food from the expo station to the appropriate tables.
- Keep tables and the restaurant clean.
- Restock service stations with napkins, plates, silverware, cleaning supplies, and other items as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to comply with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively and support team members to contribute to a positive, cooperative work environment.
