About The Position
The Server Assistant/Busser is a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences and maintaining guest service throughout the dining experience. The position supports the opening team and helps ensure the restaurant is ready for business by preparing, cleaning, and stocking side stations. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable team member who can work effectively in an upscale or high-volume restaurant. Duties, tasks, schedules, and requirements may change at any time. The listed responsibilities summarize the major duties; other tasks may be requested by guests or required by the needs of the hotel.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable work ethic.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift, move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently high level of guest service to each guest and team member during the shift.
- Proactively anticipate the needs of coworkers.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure side stations are prepared, cleaned, and stocked for business demand.
