About The Position

The Server Assist works alongside the Restaurant Server at Red Orchid, a new restaurant concept at Mystic Lake Casino, to deliver attentive, polished, and seamless service. The role supports each course and anticipates guest needs through accurate food and beverage service, table maintenance, and communication with the team. The position involves delivering food and beverages, supporting course progression, maintaining assigned tables and service areas, providing water and beverage service, and keeping service stations stocked and organized. The Server Assist also completes assigned side work and helps with other service responsibilities to support a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

At least 1 year of guest experience in a restaurant environment.
Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and experience.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages with attention to timing, accuracy, presentation, and proper service standards.
Assist with course progression by clearing, resetting, and preparing tables for the next course.
Monitor the dining room and assigned tables, anticipate guest needs, and communicate with the Server.
Verify food presentation and report concerns, missing items, or special requests before presenting food to guests.
Provide water and beverage service and assist with other guest requests.
Maintain table presentation, service areas, and the surrounding floor throughout service.
Keep service stations fully stocked and organized, and complete assigned side work.
Assist with other service responsibilities as needed to maintain a seamless guest experience.
