About The Position

The Server 1 (Sportsbook) provides food and beverage service to guests, including taking and delivering orders, serving food, and processing dining charges. The role responds to special requests and delivers a high level of customer service to create an enjoyable experience for guests and team members. Servers maintain a professional appearance and follow company and department policies and service standards. They build knowledge of menu items, beverages, wine pairings, and Hollywood movie memorabilia, and support a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must understand and speak English.
• Must be able to carry food trays of varying sizes weighing 30 pounds or more on one tray.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of table service experience in a fine dining setting.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders and serve food to guests.
• Respond to special requests for dining amenities.
• Describe menu items and beverages, suggest pairings, present beverages, and professionally present wine tableside.
• Maintain complete product knowledge, including basic knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor.
• Ring items into the POS system, accept payments, and reconcile payments.
• Make suggestions and recommendations defined by management to increase guest check average.
• Follow and maintain service standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Hollywood movie memorabilia and describe restaurant displays, including relevant actor and historical details.
• Maintain a professional appearance and interact professionally with guests and co-workers.
• Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
