About The Position

At Gallagher Bassett, the Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster applies claims management experience to assess claims exposure, determine appropriate actions, and resolve claims. The role involves extensive communication with parties in the claims process and providing empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients. Claims must be handled in line with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry methodologies, and statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements. The adjuster documents and communicates claim activity promptly and efficiently. The role investigates, evaluates, and resolves complex workers compensation claims, partnering with clients to deliver solutions and improve claims management. It requires critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization to serve clients and claimants effectively. The position is eligible for fully remote work and may handle claims in any jurisdiction.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Minimum of 5 years of related claims experience.
Appropriate license and/or certification in all states in which claims are handled.
Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.
