Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster - MI
About The Position
Gallagher Bassett is hiring a Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage complex workers compensation claims involving the Michigan jurisdiction. The role is eligible for fully remote work. The adjuster will analyze claims exposure, determine appropriate courses of action, investigate and evaluate claims, and work toward resolution while communicating with claimants, clients, and other parties involved in the claims process. The position requires handling claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry practices, and statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The adjuster will provide empathetic customer service, maintain timely and efficient claim documentation, and partner with clients to improve claims management and deliver effective solutions.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 5 years of related claims experience.
- Appropriate licensure and/or certification in all states in which claims are handled, including an active Michigan adjuster license for this role.
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
- Computer experience with related claims and business software.

- Document and communicate claim activity accurately and promptly to support claim outcomes.
- Partner with clients to deliver solutions and enhance claims management processes.
- Think critically, solve problems, and plan and prioritize work to serve clients and claimants effectively.
