Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster - TX
About The Position
Gallagher Bassett is hiring an experienced claims adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex Texas workers compensation claims. The role applies claims-management experience to analyze exposure, determine appropriate courses of action, and resolve claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry practices, and applicable statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The adjuster communicates with parties involved in the claims process, provides empathetic customer service to claimants, and documents and communicates claim activity promptly and efficiently. The position partners with clients to deliver solutions and improve claims management. It is eligible for fully remote work and requires a Texas adjuster license, as well as appropriate licensing or certification in all states where claims are handled.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 5 years of related claims experience; the overview describes a minimum of 3–5+ years adjusting a full indemnity desk plus litigation.
- Texas workers compensation jurisdictional experience.
- Active Texas adjuster license and appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states in which claims are handled.
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
- Computer experience with related claims and business software.
- Ability to investigate and evaluate complex claims, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks.
