About The Position

Under limited supervision, the Senior Warehouse Associate performs shipping and receiving activities at a customer location, ensuring customers receive the correct items on time and stocked merchandise is properly maintained. The position is based at the customer location more than 50% of the time. It has no supervisory or budget responsibility.

Requirements

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
Basic computer skills.
Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
Ability to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

May need certification to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

Determine which items need to be picked, checked, and shipped based on sales orders.
Pull orders according to sales orders and recheck them for accuracy.
Prepare items for delivery and secure packages to prevent shipping damage.
Prepare customer returns for shipment to a Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, or supplier.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the established MINO code organization.
Immediately report damaged or substandard inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe working environment.
Deliver items to customers when needed and obtain signatures confirming receipt.
Process counter sales or customer invoices when needed.
Receive items in the computer system to show which items are available to customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
