  • Experience delivering research autonomously to high quality standards.
  • Strong experience advocating for and delivering UX research in different environments.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with collaborators across the business.
  • Strong communication skills, including synthesising insights into clear, digestible and actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate findings accurately and compellingly using a variety of written and visual formats.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile, constantly evolving and demanding environment that requires multitasking.
  • Comfort working consistently with remote peers.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end research delivery, from identifying knowledge gaps and gathering questions and hypotheses to planning and conducting research, analysing results, and sharing findings.
  • Work with product managers, designers, engineers and other user researchers to develop hypotheses and plans for high-impact research.
  • Lead research for a product area and recommend approaches and methods that provide useful insights for product development and growth.
  • Conduct tactical and strategic research autonomously using a broad range of methods, including remote interviews, ad-hoc surveys and unmoderated research.
  • Evaluate and explore information architecture using methods such as tree tests and card sorts.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to complement qualitative insights with quantitative analysis, and conduct basic quantitative analysis using internal behavioural tools or surveys.
  • Communicate findings to inform business decisions through presentations, workshops, reports or other effective formats.
  • Educate the organisation about UX research and advocate for its value.
  • Contribute to improving research team processes and best practices.
  • Support the growth and skill development of junior research team members.
