About The Position

As a Travel Consultant, you are the face of BCD and support a dedicated client by communicating and responding to travel requests. You help the client travel smart by applying their travel policy, providing relevant industry information, and handling reservations and travel-related requirements. This remote, full-time position supports AbbVie and is available in the United States or Canada. Work schedules require flexibility and may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs.

Requirements

• Travel agent experience.
• Relevant skills in GDS Sabre.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Search for and confirm customer travel reservations.
• Understand the client’s travel policy and consistently provide consultation to the customer.
• Fulfill requests concerning applicable regulations and requirements, including DOT, TSA, passports, and visas.
• Provide required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties.
• Review operational processes and commercial relationships with the client and suggest improvements.
• Maintain, actively communicate, and expand knowledge of the travel industries supported.
