About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager for our growing Mobility team in Houston, TX. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring physical presence within driving distance of the office. You will collaborate with experienced transportation professionals to deliver transportation projects of varying scales and funding sources, providing an excellent opportunity to develop public sector project management skills.

Requirements

Texas PE license.
15+ years of progressive highway (TxDOT or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
Progressive highway (TxDOT or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience on roadway design projects.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects.
Manage project roles including planning development, urban and rural roadway design, freeway and interchange design, rights of way coordination and management, and public safety, with a focus on quality.
Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development.
Lead and manage all phases of a project.
Develop opportunity leads and project teams, coordinating with the Mobility Client Development team to capture strategic projects.
Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintaining clients, and developing project plans and schedules.
Assist on other projects as needed and collaborate with other Arcadis offices.
Utilize excellent, clear, and concise oral and written communication skills for interpersonal and client-facing responsibilities.
Demonstrate ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.
Contribute to strategic planning, development, and growth of the Texas Transportation Operations’ team.
Adhere to Arcadis' practices, including quality and safety standards.
