About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager for our growing Mobility team in Houston, TX. Hybrid work is available, but candidates must be physically located within driving distance of the office. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced transportation professionals to deliver transportation projects of various sizes and funding sources. This is an excellent opportunity to develop public sector project management skills.

Requirements

Texas PE license.
15+ years of progressive highway (TxDOT or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
Progressive highway (TxDOT or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience on roadway design projects.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects.
Manage project roles including planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality.
Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development.
Lead and manage all phases of a project.
Develop opportunity leads, project teams, and coordinate with the Mobility Client Development team to capture strategic projects.
Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, and development of project plans and schedules.
Assist as needed on other projects assigned and work with other Arcadis offices as needed.
Utilize excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills for interpersonal and client-facing responsibilities, including coordinating meetings, resources, and presentations.
Contribute to strategic planning, development, and growth of the Texas Transportation Operations’ team.
Adhere to Arcadis' practices including quality and safety standards.
