About The Position

A global hands-on tech-education platform is seeking a DevOps engineer to create and present a course on AI for DevOps, focusing on how engineers use AI agents and modern AI tools in real infrastructure work. The position begins with one paid freelance course project that can be completed alongside a current job. There is no fixed weekly-hours requirement; the trainer and team agree on a delivery plan. A typical project takes around three months. A fixed fee is agreed upfront based on course length and topic complexity, and payment is made when the completed course is delivered. The trainer works with the curriculum team to develop course sections, lessons, and lab specifications. A dedicated labs team builds the labs, which the trainer then tests. The trainer writes and narrates short, story-driven video lessons of about six minutes each, and records demonstrations and lab-solution walkthroughs. The production team handles video editing, animation, lab infrastructure, and publishing. The role includes structured editorial feedback, particularly on the first course section. The work is fully remote with flexible hours. It involves a weekly sync, Slack communication, and some time-zone overlap with a Europe/Asia-based team. The initial project may lead to further course projects or a full-time role, depending on fit.
