About The Position

The Senior Technical Trainer is responsible for the advanced development, design, and implementation of technical content and training materials for internal and external customers. The role delivers on-site and remote client support through expert training programs and advice on technical training materials, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure training is effective and aligned with organizational goals. The trainer engages technical implementation teams and leaders early in the capability lifecycle to identify audiences, proficiency needs, learning outcomes, timelines, and success measures. The role designs and delivers training for systems, enhancements, and emerging technologies—including XR and AI—and tailors materials to engineers, mission operators, and non-engineering staff. Training formats may include instructor-led sessions, hands-on labs, job aids, quick-reference guides, demonstrations, and self-paced content. The position owns initiatives from intake through follow-up, coordinates with program teams, corporate learning and development, IT, Cybersecurity, and other disciplines, and tracks measures such as completion, proficiency, adoption, time to productivity, and user feedback. It also maintains scalable training assets and a knowledge base, develops subject matter experts and champions, and incorporates feedback and emerging training methods to improve adoption.
