Senior Technical Program Manager
About The Position
Mavenir is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology programs focused on Open-RAN and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). The role owns the full lifecycle of cross-functional programs applying NB-IoT technology to non-terrestrial networks, including collaboration on solutions such as Voice over NB-IoT. It manages program dependencies and risks, supports program governance, and regularly presents to internal executives and customer teams. The position also coordinates work and dependencies with partners and third-party vendors while protecting company interests, and collaborates with business, product management, and product engineering teams to define scope, estimates, and success criteria for business proposals.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field.
- At least one year of experience in RF engineering and optimization in a terrestrial mobile network.
- At least one year of experience using Atlassian Jira to monitor project lifecycle and build dashboards providing graphical views of network health and readiness.
- At least one year of experience in vendor management for interoperability test planning and execution.
- At least one year of experience in customer delivery management across project lifecycle design, hardware procurement, installation, integration, optimization, and handover to support.
- At least one year of experience building complex interdependent project plans.
- At least one year of experience applying Open-RAN architecture.
- At least one year of experience with Voice over NB-IoT architecture in a non-terrestrial network.
- The listed experience requirements may be gained concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology programs in Open-RAN and Non-Terrestrial Networks.
- Own and drive the full lifecycle of cross-functional programs applying NB-IoT technology to non-terrestrial networks.
- Collaborate with product groups to analyze and implement solutions such as Voice over NB-IoT.
- Manage program dependencies and proactively plan for risk mitigation.
- Present regularly to internal executives and customer teams, and champion program governance.
- Manage work items and dependencies with partners and third-party vendors while preserving company interests.
- Collaborate with business, product management, and product engineering teams to define proposal scope, estimates, and success criteria.
