Senior Technical Program Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$168,000 - $322,000

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking an accomplished Technical Program Manager to join its DGX Cloud team. The role partners with external NCP partners and internal Software Engineering, Production Engineering/SRE, and Data Center Operations teams and leadership to drive programs in on-prem infrastructure engineering, bare-metal bring-up, and automation. The TPM will develop and mature capabilities and processes for hardware validation, remote fleet bootstrapping, operational workflows, and cluster and capacity bring-up. The position coordinates remote bootstrapping, active bring-up, and validation of large server fleets, moving clusters from physical rack-and-stack to customer-ready operation. It drives adoption of automation for fleet maintenance, node security, and burn-in, and establishes workflows for triaging and resolving deployment issues. The TPM also works with NVIDIA software teams to integrate and deploy DSX and other software stacks in on-prem environments, leads capacity operations, and may drive end-to-end capacity onboarding and operations with NCP partners. The role maps incoming technology roadmaps to data center readiness timelines; gathers requirements, creates roadmaps, and manages risks under the Product Lifecycle framework; and uses program management tools to structure execution across engineering and data center work. It establishes metrics for program velocity, infrastructure availability, and cluster health, and develops communication strategies, including collaborative weekly operations reviews.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical program management experience planning and executing cloud infrastructure programs, with a strong focus on hardware/software integration across multiple engineering teams.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in cloud or on-prem enterprise infrastructure, data center bring-up, and bare-metal deployments, with a deep understanding of hardware infrastructure.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, or similar program management tools, including designing ticket queues and guiding engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking, consensus-building, operational workflow development, and ability to drive programs through uncertainty.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and technical presentation skills, including the ability to increase meeting engagement, gather feedback, and align senior multifunctional collaborators.
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth knowledge of NVIDIA GPU products, cluster deployment, validation testing, and HPC infrastructure bring-up.
  • Experience managing dependencies between pioneering AI software stacks and foundational physical infrastructure.
  • Experience with accelerated deployment schedules, such as rapid 30-day data center rollouts, and asset-backed operational models.
  • Background establishing automated server benchmarking, burn-in execution, and infrastructure health validation workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, managed-Kubernetes platform layers, and distributed systems.
  • Significant experience with productivity tools, process automation, and establishing standard operating guidelines across technical domains.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end remote bootstrapping, active bring-up, and validation of large server fleets, from rack-and-stack through customer readiness.
  • Drive adoption of automation tooling for fleet maintenance, node security, and burn-in.
  • Establish workflows to triage and resolve day-one deployment issues.
  • Partner with NVIDIA software teams to integrate and deploy DSX and other core software stacks in on-prem environments.
  • Lead day-to-day capacity operations focused on availability, maintenance, and multi-tiered infrastructure workflows.
  • Potentially drive end-to-end capacity onboarding and operations with NCP partners as part of internal DGX Cloud capacity.
  • Map engineering technology roadmaps against physical data center readiness timelines.
  • Gather requirements, build roadmaps, and manage bare-metal capacity deployment risks under the Product Lifecycle framework.
  • Use Jira and program management tools to structure execution across engineering and data center teams.
  • Define metrics to track program velocity, infrastructure availability, and cluster health.
  • Develop communication strategies and facilitate collaborative weekly operations reviews.
