Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, AI Agent

Cresta•San Francisco, CA
•$150,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Cresta is hiring a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to own how developers, engineers, and technical executives evaluate and implement its AI Agent platform. The role owns positioning and go-to-market for the platform’s technical layer, including Conductor, the Cresta CLI, APIs, and integrations. It calls for a technically fluent product marketer who can run demos, discuss technical topics such as evaluations and guardrails, and turn that fluency into differentiated messaging for technical and executive audiences. The position develops the technical buyer narrative, enables sales and solutions teams, leads end-to-end technical AI Agent launches, and creates technical content across multiple formats. It also collaborates with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships on products, training, events, and community programs; represents Cresta externally; brings market and customer insight into roadmap prioritization; and tracks competitors to sharpen differentiation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience, including experience marketing to technical buyers, developers, or engineers.
  • Deep understanding of AI agents; ability to demo new features and handle technical objections on topics such as evaluations, context windows, and guardrails.
  • Proven experience owning positioning and messaging for a platform, API, or developer-facing product.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional launches from strategy through execution.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to address both engineers and executives.
  • Strong research and analytical instincts, with the judgment to turn customer and competitive input into a clear point of view.
  • Ability to manage several priorities at once and apply the appropriate level of effort to each.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and speed, with a bias toward building rather than waiting for a brief.

Nice To Haves

  • Background marketing AI/ML, LLM, or agent infrastructure products.
  • Experience launching a developer platform, developer ecosystem, or technology partner program.
  • Contact center, customer experience, or CCaaS domain knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience building with agent frameworks, or comfort writing light code.
  • Experience creating a technical certification, academy, or curriculum program.
  • Experience at a hypergrowth startup competing against a better-known incumbent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the technical layer of the Cresta AI Agent platform.
  • Develop the technical buyer narrative and pitch for CIO, CTO, VP Engineering, developer, and digital transformation personas, grounded in primary research.
  • Enable sales and solutions teams to engage technical buyers in new and existing accounts through training, plays, discovery, objection handling, and demos.
  • Lead technical AI Agent product launches end to end, from narrative design and asset creation through field enablement, measurement, and iteration.
  • Create differentiated technical content to generate demand and move deals forward, including guides, blog posts, pitch decks, videos, benchmarks, and customer stories.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to deliver products, training, events, and community programs for technical audiences.
  • Serve as an external evangelist through webinars, hackathons, and audience-relevant content.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to bring market, competitive, and customer signal into roadmap prioritization.
  • Track the competitive landscape and sharpen differentiation against agent-native competitors.
