About The Position
Our client is looking for a Tax Senior to join a public accounting firm that focuses on high-impact tax strategies. In this role, you’ll do more than just process returns—you’ll help business owners implement tax-efficient solutions that protect their wealth.
Requirements
- Previous public accounting experience is required, specifically working with multiple clients simultaneously.
- EA or CPA designation preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Strong understanding of tax planning and data interpretation.
- You are a strategic thinker who enjoys the "advisory" side of tax and thrives in a 100% virtual team.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in the latest tax software is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring data is interpreted accurately and reflects the client's strategic goals.
- Able to work more complex tax returns.
- Handle tax engagements from inception to closure.
- Implement business tax planning solutions and provide proactive advice based on a solid understanding of current tax concepts.
- Ability to provide clients with estimates and tax research.
- Act as a technical resource and supervise less experienced staff, helping them grow through knowledge transfer and guidance.
- Break down complex technical tax terms into clear, actionable advice that entrepreneurs can actually understand and use.
