About The Position

Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is seeking an active Senior Accountant or CPA to manage a client portfolio and contribute to the firm's growth. This is a leadership opportunity with a potential track to partnership for the right candidate. The role centers on building long-term client relationships and providing tax, accounting, and other non-attest services to a varied client base, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts. The accountant will also oversee and mentor staff.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of audit or tax experience in public accounting.
• Ability to manage client relationships and oversee multiple engagements.
• Strong project management and supervisory experience.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Confidence explaining complex financial concepts to clients from varied backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

• An active CPA license is a plus but is not required.
• Farm tax experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
• Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts.
• Plan, prepare, and review tax returns.
• Meet directly with clients to build strong, lasting relationships.
• Deliver a variety of non-attest services.
• Oversee and mentor staff and help develop future leaders within the firm.
