About The Position

Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is seeking an active Senior Accountant or CPA to take ownership of a client portfolio and contribute to the growth of its accounting firm. The position offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships, provide tax and accounting services to a diverse range of clients, and take on leadership responsibilities, including mentoring staff. A track to partnership may be available for the right candidate. The role includes work across a variety of services and industries, with opportunities to pursue specialization and professional growth. Requirements

Have 2–4 years of audit or tax experience in public accounting.
Demonstrate the ability to manage client relationships and oversee multiple engagements.
Have strong project management and supervisory experience.
Have excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
Be confident explaining complex financial concepts to clients from a range of backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

An active CPA license.
Farm tax experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a personal portfolio of clients.
Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts.
Plan, prepare, and review tax returns.
Meet directly with clients to cultivate strong, lasting relationships.
Deliver a variety of non-attest services.
Oversee and mentor staff, helping develop future leaders within the firm.
