About The Position

Clio is seeking a Senior Talent Sourcer to join their Talent Acquisition Team, focusing on sourcing for Engineering and Product roles. This position offers a hybrid work environment and is available in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto. The role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position. The ideal candidate is passionate about finding and engaging top talent, enjoys building diverse pipelines in a fast-paced setting, and approaches their work with curiosity, proactivity, and creativity. A values-driven, people-first approach is essential for success in this high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, ideally in a high-growth, high-velocity environment.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing talent pipelines for multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Strong sourcing skills across a range of channels, including outbound search, inbound applicants, referrals, and events.
  • Experience engaging passive talent, from initial outreach through relationship-building and handoff to recruiters.
  • A data-informed mindset, with the ability to track activity, analyze results, and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • A collaborative, consultative approach and strong partnership skills.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset, with interest in continuously improving your sourcing craft, including experimenting with AI tools and new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Clio’s human and high-performing culture throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Partner with Recruiters and hiring teams to build and execute scalable sourcing strategies aligned to role requirements and hiring plans.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates using a variety of techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, referrals, events, and creative outreach).
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and nurture passive candidates through thoughtful, consistent touchpoint strategies.
  • Conduct market and talent research (availability, compensation trends, competitor mapping) and adapt sourcing strategies as market conditions evolve.
  • Screen and assess sourced candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements before recruiter handoff.
  • Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, and outcomes; share insights and recommendations with recruiting partners.
  • Support special projects, recruiting initiatives, and hiring events as needed.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for select roles when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
