About The Position

Order Management is responsible for directly assisting the Sales and Program Management teams in executing purchase orders and contracts that are placed on to L3Harris. The role is responsible for loading demand against the factory, submitting licensing requests for export, preparing permanent and temporary export documentation and coordinating the creation of payment documentation. Order Management process all credits for returns of equipment. The role is also responsible for review and auditing of internal order accuracy and execution functionality L3Harris has to offer assisting the Sales team in closing out pursuits.

Requirements

  • Should have strong organizational skills with a strong ability to quickly prioritize actions based on business need.
  • Should be familiar with CRM quoting process.
  • Should be familiar with Oracle and International shipping including experience in ITAR and EAR environments.
  • Should be process oriented and show an interest in supporting and leading improvement opportunities for the tools used by the group and the processes followed to increase quality, improve efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Should be able to operate in a high pressure environment and react quickly but in a controlled manner to urgent situations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in order management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the mentorship of newer members in Order Management (approx 2-4)
  • Assist in maintaining and enforcing the processes and financial controls that govern the role and managing the assigned regional sales order execution from order to cash.
  • Reviewing work for quality issues with order entry and executing corrective actions promptly. Collaborating with business partners to receive feedback on how the team may operate better to facilitate downstream activities in the order fulfillment process.
  • Collaborating with other functional teams and business partners to ensure cross functional communications and workflows are optimized for all teams.
  • Responsible for directing and managing international sales orders from booking through to payment.
  • Responsible for determining if the internal organization can meet customer requirements. Understands, interprets, and maintains compliance with federal regulations.
  • Tracking export licenses
  • Preparing US Customs documentation for all shipments in compliance to ITAR and EAR regulations
  • Coordinating overseas shipments with freight forwarders
  • Preparing documentation for Letters of Credit in order to collect payment.
  • Performing basic administrative tasks such as answering customer phone calls, and uploading/editing documents on SharePoint
  • Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of booking packages, orders and shipment documentation for the purpose of supporting international business.
