This role is for a detail-oriented and proactive Order Management Specialist who will own the end-to-end customer order journey. This position goes beyond simple order entry, focusing on leading the entire process from initial receipt through delivery, coordinating across multiple departments, solving real-time challenges, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in order management, fulfillment, supply chain operations, or customer operations.
Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams and with external partners.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
A proactive, process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Experience in technology distribution or a VAR environment.
NetSuite experience.
Knowledge of trade compliance and international shipping regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage customer orders from start to finish—accurately, on schedule, and always audit-ready.
Serve as the central liaison between credit, purchasing, sales, 3PL partners, warehouse, invoicing, and fulfillment.
Treat high-priority or intricate orders like projects, navigating delays, shortages, or shipment issues to keep customers satisfied.
Assess and rank orders by business need, customer requirements, and delivery timelines.
Update and maintain real-time order information in NetSuite to ensure clear visibility for all stakeholders.
Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and support ISO initiatives that enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Guarantee accuracy in documentation and adherence to policies, federal regulations, and international shipping requirements (including Commercial Invoices, HTS codes, ECCN, and Dangerous Goods).
Partner with sales and finance teams to resolve billing questions, process adjustments, and maintain smooth invoice workflows.
