This role is for a detail-oriented and proactive Order Management Specialist who will own the end-to-end customer order journey. This position goes beyond simple order entry, focusing on leading the entire process from initial receipt through delivery, coordinating across multiple departments, solving real-time challenges, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in order management, fulfillment, supply chain operations, or customer operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams and with external partners.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
  • A proactive, process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technology distribution or a VAR environment.
  • NetSuite experience.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance and international shipping regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from start to finish—accurately, on schedule, and always audit-ready.
  • Serve as the central liaison between credit, purchasing, sales, 3PL partners, warehouse, invoicing, and fulfillment.
  • Treat high-priority or intricate orders like projects, navigating delays, shortages, or shipment issues to keep customers satisfied.
  • Assess and rank orders by business need, customer requirements, and delivery timelines.
  • Update and maintain real-time order information in NetSuite to ensure clear visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and support ISO initiatives that enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Guarantee accuracy in documentation and adherence to policies, federal regulations, and international shipping requirements (including Commercial Invoices, HTS codes, ECCN, and Dangerous Goods).
  • Partner with sales and finance teams to resolve billing questions, process adjustments, and maintain smooth invoice workflows.
