About The Position

Dossier is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to own product demonstrations and technical wins on its largest U.S. healthcare enterprise deals. This is a pre-sales role partnering with Enterprise Account Executives from discovery through close. The engineer will lead technical and clinical discovery with healthcare executives and leaders, including CNOs, nursing directors, clinical education leaders, CIOs, and HR, and tailor demonstrations to each health system’s competency-management workflows. The role works across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing. In addition to delivering demos, the Senior Solutions Engineer will help qualify opportunities, establish demonstration criteria, build proof-of-concept environments, support business cases, address technical and security questions, and document solutions for implementation handoff. The role also owns the demo playbook and seller certification program. The position is U.S.-based and involves approximately 20–30% travel for conferences and on-site demos.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering role at an enterprise SaaS company.
  • At least 5 years of domain expertise in healthcare workforce, clinical education, learning, or human capital management applications.
  • Experience selling into health systems or hospitals and a working understanding of how nursing, clinical education, and HR operate.
  • A proven record of owning discovery-to-demo for $100K+ ACV deals, including executive presentations and RFP responses.
  • Outstanding discovery, presentation, and influencing skills with C-level executives, specifically the offices of the CNO and CHRO.
  • Experience presenting cloud-based solutions to functional and technical audiences, including hospital IT and security teams.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and LMS integrations, single sign-on, and data flows.
  • Experience building demo environments and demo flows, and enabling sellers.
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple opportunities at once and across functions.
  • Disciplined use of HubSpot or a similar CRM.
  • U.S.-based and able to travel to conferences and on-site demos approximately 20–30% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical background, such as RN, MSN, nursing informatics, or nursing professional development.
  • Experience with competency management, clinical education, or healthcare workforce platforms.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements for clinical staff.
  • Understanding of AI and analytics sufficient to design demos and proofs of concept addressing a prospect’s business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with Enterprise Account Executives to understand prospect pain points, current processes, and desired future state, and translate findings into demonstration criteria.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations, executive presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept builds for enterprise opportunities, including $100K+ ACV, multi-facility health systems, and strategic accounts.
  • Build demos around prospects’ clinical workflows across competency, clinical laddering, and learning products, and maintain prospect-specific demo environments.
  • Lead technical discovery of current-state systems, HRIS and LMS integrations, single sign-on, data flows, and compliance requirements, and prepare a solution-design summary for each deal.
  • Partner with the AE on value-based business cases covering clinical and quality outcomes, educator time, accreditation readiness, and ROI.
  • Own technical, integration, and security sections of RFIs, RFPs, and questionnaires, with Product and Engineering as support.
  • Resolve technical and functional questions during the sales cycle to keep deals moving.
  • Own the demo playbook and run a certification program that qualifies AEs to demonstrate smaller deals independently.
  • Document the agreed solution at close for a clean implementation handoff and bring field insights back to Product.
  • Log demo activity and engagement in HubSpot.

Benefits

  • Flexible paid time off with no accruals, caps, or forms.
  • Paid U.S. federal holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Learning and development investment, including access to global subject-matter experts.
