About The Position

DSV Projects & Industry Solutions (DPIS) delivers integrated logistics solutions for some of the world's most complex capital projects across Energy, LNG, Petrochemical, Mining, Power, Renewable Energy and Industrial sectors. The Senior Transport Engineer is a consultative logistics engineering specialist responsible for developing transportability assessments, constructability reviews and executable transport methodologies that enable the safe movement of oversized and heavy-lift cargo. Unlike a traditional design engineering role, this position focuses on practical logistics engineering, transport execution, route engineering and technical advisory services. Working closely with Project Managers, EPC contractors, project owners, fabricators, Marine Warranty Surveyors and specialist contractors, the Senior Transport Engineer develops innovative, field-proven solutions from FEED through detailed planning and project execution.

  • Experience supporting EPC, LNG, Petrochemical, Mining, Power, Renewable Energy or major infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing transport engineering studies, route assessments, constructability reviews and logistics execution plans.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate engineering into executable logistics solutions.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6
  • ArcGIS, QGIS and Google Earth Pro

  • Provide technical assurance that proposed logistics solutions are practical, safe and commercially viable.
  • Conduct desktop transport feasibility studies and coordinate physical route surveys.
  • Assess bridge capacities, pavement loading, turning geometry, vertical clearances, permitting requirements and temporary works.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and detailed engineering recommendations.
  • Review engineering drawings to assess transportability, lifting arrangements, centres of gravity, transport envelopes and fabrication constraints.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance logistics efficiency and reduce project risk.
  • Support FEED studies, EPC tenders, RFIs and RFQs with technical engineering input.
  • Prepare technical narratives, engineering deliverables, budgets and execution philosophies.
  • Provide technical support during critical heavy transport operations.
