About The Position

The Senior Solution Architect – EHR, Clinical Integration & Automation architects and provides technical leadership for complex enterprise healthcare solutions involving EHR systems, clinical applications, cloud platforms, data integration, APIs, event-driven architectures, automation technologies, and enterprise applications. The role leads client and solution architecture from initial business requirements through detailed design, development, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.

The architect works with clinical and EHR application teams, Automation Analysts, Full Stack Developers, Data Engineers, Application Engineers, QA Engineers, infrastructure and security teams, and business stakeholders to turn complex clinical and operational requirements into secure, scalable, reliable, and supportable technical solutions.

This is a hands-on technical architecture role. The successful candidate is expected to have significant experience designing and developing enterprise solutions, evaluate code- and integration-level designs, analyze data and system interactions, prototype technical approaches when needed, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide detailed technical direction to engineering teams. The role calls for experience with modern enterprise technologies, including GCP, .NET, APIs, Kafka and event-driven architectures, data engineering, SQL, CI/CD, and automation/RPA, together with experience integrating EHR and healthcare technology ecosystems.

Requirements

• Significant prior experience designing and developing enterprise solutions.
• Experience with EHR and healthcare technology ecosystems and integrations.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), .NET, APIs, Kafka/event-driven architectures, data engineering, SQL, CI/CD, and automation/RPA technologies.
• Experience with data warehouse and lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with distributed processing using Spark, SQL, or Python.
• Experience with streaming and event-driven architecture, including Kafka, Event Hubs, or Kinesis.
• Experience with data integration, including APIs and change data capture.
• Experience with data quality and master data management.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience enabling analytics and BI, including Power BI and semantic layers.
• Experience with AI/ML data pipelines and feature stores.
• Ability to evaluate code-level and integration-level designs, analyze data and system interactions, prototype technical approaches, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide detailed technical direction.
• Ability to translate complex clinical and operational requirements into secure, scalable, reliable, and supportable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provide technical leadership for complex enterprise healthcare solutions involving EHR systems, clinical applications, cloud platforms, data integration, APIs, event-driven architectures, automation, and enterprise applications.
• Lead client and solution architecture from business requirements through detailed design, development, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
• Translate clinical and operational requirements into secure, scalable, reliable, and supportable technical solutions in collaboration with engineering, clinical, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
• Evaluate code-level and integration-level designs and analyze data and system interactions.
• Prototype technical approaches when necessary and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Provide detailed technical direction to engineering teams.
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines and pipeline orchestration approaches.
• Support data integration, data quality, master data management, analytics and BI enablement, and AI/ML data pipelines and feature stores.
• Contribute to architecture documentation and design reviews.
