About The Position

PrismHR is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with 12+ years of experience to design, build, test, and maintain core software applications supporting its customer-facing businesses. The role collaborates with product teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans. As part of an engineering team, the engineer follows software development and code-management practices, performs code and security reviews, conducts integration testing, and implements established DevOps procedures to support reliable software delivery. The position involves designing and developing scalable, maintainable applications using object-oriented principles and modern frameworks; troubleshooting and resolving production issues; and supporting application performance, reliability, and scalability. It also contributes to code quality, continuous improvement, professional development, and a collaborative engineering culture. Requirements

12+ years of experience with C# and object-oriented programming methodologies.
5+ years of experience with the ASP.NET Framework, including ASP.NET Core.
5+ years of experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks and component libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.
5+ years of SQL database development experience, including Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Azure serverless technologies, including Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
Strong understanding of RESTful services and API development technologies.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), or other Agile frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams.

Nice To Haves

Additional hands-on experience with Angular development.
Experience with Microsoft Azure API Management (API Gateway), Azure SQL Database, and Azure App Services.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications in Azure environments.
Strong understanding of scalable application architecture and modern software engineering practices.
